Yum Yum

Isaac is usually a very good eater.  We are very fortunate to not have to worry about him filling his tummy right now or keeping his thighs and belly chunky.  He has been stretching out so I'm hoping he stays chunky for a bit longer.  We've documented him chomping on a few things like a big boy.  Even with his eating he's growing up too fast.

We got dessert eggrolls from HK sent to us from Isaac's grandma. They were delicious as you can see.

Fun with Chloe

A few weeks ago we crossed the bridge to visit Isaac's bff, Chloe. It was a fun visit since her parents were out of town and we got to PARTY!  hehe...j/k.  No crazy parties for these kids...ever :) But they still had fun and it was very nice seeing Chloe's grandparents.  

Even though he doesn't look it...he's very happy with the stroller. He pushed it around pretty much the whole time we were there. Unfortunately we don't have one at home.

So of course like many play dates with 1 1/2 year-olds it's not all rainbows and butterflies.  There was some tension which revolved around a certain stroller :).  Can I just say how impressed I am with Chloe's foot work while holding the stroller?  Little ballerina :)  Oh and Isaac had said 'please' right before I started recording.

Don't worry... it all turned out just fine. Don't really remember what happened but they were back to being bffs again :)

Easter and people we love

2nd post this week! I'm doing better and am pretty close to catching up to all the pictures I want to post.  Before it gets too far past...here are (lots and lots of) pictures of Isaac's Easter weekend.  

Isaac's Popo was up here for a visit. Isaac loved having her around and checking out her stuff. Her stuff was always much more interesting than boring toys.

Sometimes it would just be fun to hang out and read together.

Isaac got a chance to skype with his Gong gong and show off some new things he's doing since they last saw each other...like saying words :)

The day before Easter we visited Jeffrey's family in BC.  This is Jeffrey's cousin's son visiting from HK... I guess he is Isaac's... cousin?  heh.  Anyways, Samuel was super sweet with Isaac.

Samuel even helped Isaac eat.

Auntie Sophia is so nice and was brave enough to try to hold you Isaac.  Someday when you're ready you will have fun with her.

After a great lunch we went to walk around Stanely Park. It was a beautiful day to be taller than Dad.

We also found the Easter bunny! Isaac was very curious about her from afar...but thought she was a bit frightening up close.

We also found an Easter egg hunt there which comprised of kids rolling around in the hay searching for eggs.  Isaac thought we were a bit crazy for thinking that was fun.

On Easter Sunday Isaac enjoyed Sunday School with his bff, Chloe and his buddy, Jayden who came to visit. Chloe was sitting on my lap first then Isaac nudged some space for himself.

They got an egg with a cute chick inside.

Lots of trading goes on behind our backs... Guess Isaac wanted the pink egg. 

I thought Uncle Robert and Isaac kinda matched so we took a picture of them together... unfortunately Isaac is not a fan of Uncle Robert yet... one day...but not yet :)

Easter lunch with his buddy, Jayden!  Again with the trading...this time snack cups.

Isaac got a cute bunny from Auntie Shirley for Easter.  In this video he says 'dirty' when Jeffrey thought he said 'tickle' and I think he means he wanted the ribbon off the bunny. But Jeffrey didn't understand so he figured out a way to get it off himself.  Quite a resourceful little guy :).

Don't worry Isaac, we don't need to see anymore Easter bunnies because we have Cookie.  We think he's just as special.

Wonder if Cookie thinks you're...special too?  Or a bit...crazy?? :)
