Summer Time Fun

We've had a slow start to summer this year. Lots of rain until August and then finally SUN and beautiful NW weather that we treasure since it only lasts for a short time before the rain begins again. Isaac continues to show off new developments which always seem to surprise us. Ready or not he's growing up! Well, here are some highlights of the beginning of our summer.

Isaac bonding with Heidi when we dogsat for a few days. We worked a lot on being 'gentle' with her. Heidi is a very sweet and patient dog.

Isaac loved hanging out with Abby when they visited (and Nathan too but at this visit he wasn't fast enough to keep up with Nathan)

We got to ride Thomas the Train. See Isaac decked out in his Thomas overalls? Abby was so patient holding his hand since his legs are shorter and not as coordinated.

Our next visit was to the Seattle Aquarium. So Abby had entered a drawing contest at Jeffrey's work place. She didn't win this time but they gave her tickets to the Aquarium!

At the touch pool. Abby and Nathan were very interested in the sea stars and sea anemones...and Isaac liked the water. 

The touch pools were the favorite exhibit for the kids. Isaac was more into gazing. I think his arms need to grow a bit more.

Lastly, Popo at the dock. It was a really beautiful Seattle day.

Friends and Family

Here are some highlights of our past month...

Abby turned 5!

Yum Yum

Isaac is usually a very good eater.  We are very fortunate to not have to worry about him filling his tummy right now or keeping his thighs and belly chunky.  He has been stretching out so I'm hoping he stays chunky for a bit longer.  We've documented him chomping on a few things like a big boy.  Even with his eating he's growing up too fast.

We got dessert eggrolls from HK sent to us from Isaac's grandma. They were delicious as you can see.
